Home Key locks

Assign NFC readers and physical locks to a Home Key lock, then pair with Apple Home.

NFC readers

Readers can be assigned to several locks in the same Apple Home.

Physical locks

Scanning connects unregistered Sesame locks immediately. Wait for Ready to register below, then click Register. Set positions after registration and assign the lock to a Home Key lock.

Bluetooth connections

All connected Sesame devices and locks preparing for registration. Register claims only the lock you select. Disconnect releases a waiting connection; configured locks may reconnect automatically.

Network settingsLeave empty for automatic HomeKit discovery interface selection.

Saving briefly restarts HomeKit and reader connections. Pairings and credentials are preserved.

Select a lock. Unregistered locks must already show Ready to register. For a lock already set up in Sesame, import its local key JSON.

Lock positions

Turn the thumb-turn manually to each desired position, wait for the displayed position to update, then save it. Test movement with the door open.
